Karen Hardee talks climate change, resilience, and family planning on the Enviro Show

Karen Hardee, director of the Evidence Project, spoke to Nancy Richards of the Enviro Show – a South African radio program whose mission is to “make sense of what’s happening here on earth.” Hardee called in to discuss advances in research on climate change, environmental stress and demographic analysis from the International Population Conference 2017 in Cape Town, including a new study on the role of family planning in promoting a community’s resilience to climate change. Hardee and Richards also talked about the importance of placing human rights at the center of efforts to address population growth.
